Bush Pilot
A person who will fly a light airplane for money anywhere in Alaska,and, hopes, back again. Without the aid of modern electronics, Bush pilots land on gravel bars, beaches and sometimes glaciers, not to mention in clearings you would have thought were much too small. No wonder Bush pilots consider a good landing to be any one they walk away from.
